Dr Wendy Parker, a Cure Cancer Australia Foundation and Leukaemia Foundation of Australia post-doctoral fellow in the Leukaemia Unit, Department of Molecular and Genetic Pathology, Centre for Cancer Biology won the South Australian Young Woman of the Year Award. This award is given by the South Australian Reunion Group of the Australian Women of the Year Association (AWOYA). The award is for female early career researchers who have done extraordinary work over the last year and is to assist high achieving young women in their journey to the pathway of their chosen careers.
