At a special symposium of the Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists (FAOBMB) held in Singapore Professor Sharad Kumar was presented the prestigious annual FAOBMB Research Excellence Award by the the federation president. The award recognised Professor Kumar’s seminal work in the the fields of cell death and ubiquitination.
